One Last out!

Bobby Taylor is about to make history. He has imagined this moment. He has practiced for it a hundred times. Now, in front of a big crowd, on the majestic Fenced Field, the long-haired right-hander is one out away from completing

A PERFECT GAME.

This will be the greatest game in Seaford Little League history! Bobby muses between deep breaths. He can already picture the headline in the town newspaper:

Standing in the batter’s box is Sockless Joe, a dangerous hitter determined to bust Bobby’s dream. In backyard fantasies, Bobby always strikes him out.

Anything can happen in baseball, but Bobby only needs

About Robert

Robert Germano was born in The Bronx, NY, not far from Yankee Stadium, into a family of superstitious baseball fans. As a child growing up in Long Island, he dreamed of becoming a Major League Baseball player or a sportswriter. Instead, he has enjoyed a successful business career but never lost his love for baseball and writing. His stories have delighted family and friends for decades, and it was with their encouragement that he decided to share his work with a wider audience.

Robert resides in Winter Garden, Florida with his amazing wife Jamie and new best friend, Enzo. He is lucky to have his adult children, Ashley (with husband Piero) & Michael living nearby. He enjoys reading, writing, board games, sports, and Sunday dinners.
